Coldplay doesn’t cease to amaze us time and time again! This time, they got The Chainsmokers along for the ride.

As if we’re not loving Coldplay enough, it was recently announced that the band has joined hands with music’s biggest electronic artists, The Chainsmokers, for a brand new track, titled, “Something Just Like This”. Just hours after the news was revealed by the hitmaking DJs, they delivered a stunner of a live debut performance, along with Coldplay at the Brit Awards 2017.

The performance started off calmly, as a silhouette of Chris Martin was projected on a large curtain while The Chainsmoker’s Drew Taggart, strummed the guitar. However, the performance reached it’s climax once the curtain dropped to a colourful light display and Chris Martin proceeded to run across the stage, in his signature fashion, even jumping into the crowd, much to the excitement of the lucky audience members who got to be a part of this live performance.

Just as the drop of the track was kept a surprise until its release, the performance was also kept hush hush until the very moment it happened. Before this performance, Martin took the stage to give a heartfelt tribute to George Michael.
