Prior to his India tour this weekend, the hallmark of a quintessential Steve Aoki performance has run it’s course as the Dim Mak boss decides to save the caking for specific shows only.
Steve Aoki, one of the many international DJ’s who takes crowd interaction very seriously, has announced in a recent press statement, that he will be discontinuing his cake shenanigans. He will be limiting his cake-throwing for his headline shows and exclusive performances for die-hard fans only.
Aoki’s cake hurling has become one of the most interesting routines in dance music, and on each of his previous visits to India, the Dim Mak boss has indulged in this practice. Apart from massive champagne showers and crowd – rafting, Steve Aoki’s performances are entertaining, and the caking will surely be missed.
