‘Shape Of You’ and ‘÷’ take Ed Sheeran to the throne on Spotify this year!
It’s the end of the year and we’ve been eager to know what song/album truly rocked the year for music fans across the globe in 2017. Going by the year-end chart released by Spotify, it seems like Ed Sheeran completely ruled the music charts this year. Ed Sheeran was the most-streamed artist on the service worldwide, with his album, ‘÷’, and song, ‘Shape Of You’, dominating the album/song streaming lists. Ed Sheeran overtook Drake, who was the top streamed artist in 2016, and his other contemporaries to secure the top spot this year. Check out the list below:
