Seth Troxler To Feed Homeless At Amsterdam Dance Event

Amsterdam Dance Event never fails to pique interest, owing to the unique events and activities it puts together, especially the ones involving DJs. This year, Seth Troxler is planning to step up his game, not just as a DJ – but as a cook too.

Seth Troxler is quite the foodie. After impressively winning the ADE DJ Cook Off for three consecutive years, this time he’s going to team up with 10,000 Hours to judge the event. The 10,000 Hours Foundation is also coming together with Troxler and Dave Clark and Paul Oakenfold, to cook a meal for 75 homeless people, on October 14. These people are from the community of De Regenboog Groep, one of the walk-in shelters.

Here’s what the cook-off looked like last year:

Troxler believes that “People shouldn’t be hungry. A friend of mine does a thing in Sydney, where he feeds the homeless every Tuesday. Whenever I’m there I help him out. I’m happy to serve people, that is always the best part.” Troxler owns the acclaimed restaurant, Smokey Tails, in London, and food happens to be one of the things he takes quite seriously, aside from his brilliant music. A DJ and producer from Michigan, USA, Seth Troxler has a style that focuses on house and techno. His constant touring, along with the popularity of his music resulted in him being voted No.1 in the Top 100 DJs Poll from 2009-2012.
