6 Seriously Fantastic Music Festivals That Are Absolutely FREE!

These festivals offer phenomenal music to their fans, free of charge. Take a look!

While music festivals have been and still are great for the local and international economy, there’s nothing more joyful than a festival that’s  solely for the fans. In a time when festival-goers are devising complex schemes to afford $400 passes, it’s incredibly refreshing to see these festivals focusing on the music and the idea of togetherness. The following festivals take us right back to the basics. Check out these absolutely wonderful music festivals that are also completely free.

1. Rock Al Parque

When: July 2-4, 2016
Where: Colombia

The only thing that matters at Rock Al Parque is the rock itself; its ethos is 100% “Come as you are.” With its unabashed nonchalance and intensely music-oriented crowd, this festival is the mecca of rock enthusiasts. Besides, you won’t have to spend your month’s earning in an attempt to afford it. If you love rock, then we suggest you grab one of the free tickets to this festival, because the lineups just keep getting better with every passing year. Last year’s line-ups featured acts local and international, with a side of indie. Head here to know more about the festival.
