Prateek bagged the Best India Act award at the MTV EMAs this year.
India’s answer to John Mayer, Prateek Kuhad has managed to bag as many awards as he has won hearts. This year alone, he has performed at innumerable concerts, festivals and continues to swoon his audiences with tunes that stir the soul. The minute he picks up his guitar, you know you are in for a treat.
The MTV Europe Music Awards is a prestigious affair and apart from having the usual categories, they also award talented acts from around the globe. Yo Yo Honey Singh has taken home the Best India Act prize on two occasions, but this time, it was Prateek who impressed.
Prateek first strummed a guitar at a not-so-young age of 16. He started writing his own compositions even later than that! But what’s even more astounding is that he did not even consider taking up music as a full-time activity until five years ago. But look where it has gotten him now. Goes to show how big a role passion can play in your life, it might even take you to the EMAs.
