In Pictures: The Ethereal Carnival That Was Treasure Island Music Festival

In its 7th year now, Treasure Island Music Festival has established itself in the world of festivals with its gorgeous, one-of-a-kind setup and exciting lineup.

The OG alternating stage fest is created in sch a manner that no matter where you are – on the ferris wheel or getting some grub, you never have to miss an act. The two-day festival weekend was nestled between San Francisco Bay on one end, and downtown San Francisco’s iconic skyline on the other.

The 15,000 people who attended the festival each day were attracted by the beautiful boutique setting, Saturday’s electro/hip-hop leaning lineup and Sunday’s more straightforward indie rock approach. The highlights of the two-day festival were acts like Panda Bear, CHVRCHES, Father John Misty, The War On Drugs, and The National’s impeccable closing set on Sunday.
