The annual Amsterdam Dance Event recently closed their 21st edition in grand fashion. This year saw them put up a sold out event for the 10th year in a row. ADE is the world’s biggest club festival and stands as a gathering ground for everyone who is into the electronic dance music scene. Be it someone who is a performer, a marketer or even a publicist; ADE is the perfect platform for anyone who wants to get their hands dirty while learning and interacting with some of the best minds in the industry.

This year’s edition played host to over 1000 events, 550 speakers, 2,200 artists in over 140 venues. The cherry on the cake happens to be that this year there was an estimated audience of over 375,000 people! The event saw three variations relating to different aspects of the music industry. There’s the festival itself, then The Playground and The Conference. Amsterdam has quite the reputation for being one of the most hardcore nightlife destinations. To live up to that standard, over 140 various nightclubs, museums buildings, businesses and unconventional venues in Amsterdam were transformed for ADE’s night time festivities.

The festival saw a lot of budding creators, musicians and performers come to get some insight from the professionals who were giving various talks and discussions about issues and matters at hand. The business side of things had a programming focus on expert insights into the harder and urban music genres; the connection between dance music and brands; the relationship between music and technology.
