The anticipation leading to The Grammy Awards 2017, next year, has caught up with everyone. And the President of the United States is no exception.
Michelle Obama recently revealed that living in The White House brought her family closer than ever before. Well, it seems that president Obama agrees. In a recently published video, the current President of the United States appears to be crooning along to the lyrics of The Chainsmokers’s biggest hit,’Closer’.
In addition to having a catchy tune, the song has been in the news recently for being nominated for the 2017 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo Performance. The song also received attention when a YouTuber uploaded a video of Presidential-elect Donald Trump singing along to the song last week. And now, the uploader has followed it up by stitching together clips of various speeches, press conferences and appearances of President Obama’s past endeavours, making it appear like the President is performing the hit song.
With all the free time he’ll have as he leaves the presidency, Obama appears to be exploring his options. Guess we’re not the only ones that can’t get that song out of our head, are we?
