2016 to bring a new multi-genre music festival that will allegedly rival the likes of Coachella and Bonnaroo.
Music festivals are a rapidly growing industry a lot of people want in on, but very few make it through the cracks and hit the home run. The Coachellas and Bonnaroos of the world rule and this up and coming music festival wants in on the action.
In the plethora of American music festivals, Okeechobee is here to set itself apart. The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is currently scheduled to take over the 848 acre property formerly known as Sundance Trails in March with more than 80 artists, bands and DJs on five stages over three wonderful days.
“We have signed major headline artists and an amazing supporting lineup that will rival other major festivals in the United States and worldwide,” said Steve Sybesma, CEO of Soundslinger, the promoters of Okeechobee and Bonnaroo itself. “Our lineup will be similar to a lineup they might have at Bonnaroo or Coachella.”
The festival will take place in March 2016 and the lineup is said to be released somewhere in mid-October. Do keep tabs here for updates!
