Mysteryland has joined forces with Greenpeace to raise positive awareness about the way they use energy, food, equipment and the environment.
Mysteryland has been taking several steps to promote eco-friendly practices and they’re leading by example. The festival runs entirely on renewable energy and recyclables both front and behind the scenes from plastic, paper, and restaval. To encourage visitors to clean the grounds, on both days of the festival, organisers have Green Teams walking around cleaning up.
Festival goers can enjoy a variety of vegetarian and vegan culinary treats at Mysteryland, including fries made from potatoes grown right there at the Holy Ground Camp. Also, like every year, Mysteryland offers free water at their water bars.

Lyke Poortvliet, Sustainability Manager at ID&T says, “You can work as an organization to try and change the world, but if nobody helps it’s difficult. That’s why we need each other to make a difference and strengthen one another. Our goal is to show that together the party and making a positive impact on the environment go hang with hand”.
To celebrate the partnership organisers are also holding a raffle with Greenpeace. Lucky winners get to spend a weekend at Mysteryland with overnight stay in a Kartent (a fully recyclable and durable tent made of cardboard) and make an organic breakfast for two.
