Mumbai’s Most Eclectic Dance Music Festival, Eden ArtFest Returns

Eden ArtFest is the much needed dance music respite from the daily humdrum of Mumbai. This award-winning festival is the perfect way to spend a weekend this November. On November 14 and 15, at Mumbai’s Mahalakshmi Racecourse, comes a festival to look forward to. Eden ArtFest will pair incredible local dance music talent with established and rising stars from abroad, courtesy Bhavishyavani Future Soundz and Magnanimous. This year’s musical lineup at Eden will see a diverse mix of bands, producers, DJs and performers across genres at this veritable oasis of music in the middle of noisy, urban Mumbai. Artists performing at this festival include Indian talent like electro-rock fetishists Madboy/Mink, Frame/Frame featuring alongside bass music DJ Ez Riser, dance music producer Aqua Dominatrix, Pune-based Big City Harmonics and longtime music educator and vinyl-selector DJ Uri. The festival will also see the inimitable house and techno artist Maayan Nidam, New Delhi producer Gaurav Malaker aka BLOT!, and even a collaborative performance between M.MAT and avant-garde dance music producer Sandunes. To top off this lineup, the weekend ends with French house and techno trio dOP and hip hop performer Aquarius Heaven a.k.a vocalist Brian Brewster. Just like last year, music isn’t the only awesome thing about this event. For those inclined to art and fashion, there will be a carefully curated market, and a showcase of stylings by 40 unique talents and brands. It’s also going to be the first urban Indian fest to offer morning detox sessions paired with music and yoga, so you can charge up for energetic the day ahead!
