Mumbai To Host Literature Festival With A Difference

Lit-O-Fest attempts to allocate equal space and attention to neglected Hindi, regional and emerging talents.

Among the few of literature festivals held in India, Lit-O-Fest differentiates itself as a “Literature Fest with a difference.” Attempting to bridge the major gap in the literature festival space when it comes to emerging authors as well as regional and Hindi authors, the 2 day festival will be held on February 20-21 at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Now in its 2nd year, the festival will feature speakers, authors, musicians & artists such as Anant Vijay, Hari Haran, Anu Malik, Irshad Kamil, Kiran Manral, Koral Dasgupta, Zaarra Khader and many more.

In addition to hosting valuable sessions with recognized authors, it is also a platform to initiate an Authors Awards to recognize emerging authors & felicitate established literary stars and where every writer gets an equal opportunity and a space to be seen, heard & published. Lit-O-Fest is also the only literature festival in India to publish the manuscripts of upcoming authors for free.

The festival follows a unique format divided into 4 parts i.e. Sabha (discussions and workshops), Sammelan (exhibitions and art displays), Sanskriti (plays and performances), and Sammaan (awards and felicitations).
