Metallica Perform “Enter Sandman” With A Fan At A Grocery Store!

The band surprised people with the song in the middle of a pick up!

Metallica came out with “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct”, their first album in over eight years and they have been promoting the already record-breaking album all over the planet. By the looks of it, the fans are more excited than ever!

They recently were on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” to play the classic “Enter Sandman” using only classroom instruments and while shooting an episode of “Billy On The Street” with comedian Billy Eichner, the group entered a grocery store where they teamed up with a fan behind the meat counter to sing the song once more! Luckily, one of the paparazzi’s captured the video and it’s warming our cold metal hearts! See it now:

Look at the joy on the mans face as he headbangs to oblivion while lead singer James Hetfield looks on like a proud papa at his wild child. Everyone stopped to see them rock out in the middle of the store while Billy Eichner recorded the song for the show which we can’t wait to see when it comes out.

The group visited Fallon again, where they played a game of “Who Knows Metallica?” with a super fan after performing singles “Atlas, Rise” and “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and made the man’s day when they invited him to be a guest on one of their shows for the upcoming tour this year, despite winning the man’s wallet in the game. We bet they’re nice guys and gave it back though.

See, metal heads are human beings too, they just suffer concussions from time to time.
