Meet Asia’s Longest Beach Festival That Will Take Place In Diu

Diu International Festival promises to bring a slew of live entertainment and art to life. 

Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is bringing Diu international Festival, a celebration of music, art and culture to the scenic beaches of Diu. This festival is the longest beach festival in Asia, to be spanned over three months – December 2015 to February 2016.

These three months will feature over 140 shows and 300 artists such as Vir Das, Indian Ocean, Benny Dayal, Milind Soman and many more. The festival will also feature a unique format with different artists performing to different themes every week. It will simultaneously focus on jam sessions, concerts, literary and art programs, workshops, community outreach programs and carnivals.

Here’s what Shubhra Bhardwaj, Founder and Creative Director of Ferriswheel Entertainment says about the up and coming festival:

“With Diu International Festival, our aim is to put Diu on the world map as a global destination for culture and festivities. We have already begun our work to make this festival a spectacle, which will continue to attract masses from across the globe. We aim to re-create the Isle of Calma into a culturally enriching hotspot for both locals and tourists.”
