This festival just got cooler in our books for a special reason.
The luxurious Magnetic Fields Festival is back this year and scheduled to take place in Rajasthan between 9th and 11th December 2016. After a well received response in 2015, this time around there’s a little something special that the organisers have come up with. Besides the fact that it will be taking place at the beautiful Alsisar palace, they have created a platform for the artists to feel like a part of the festival while using their creativity in the form of a barter system.

Yup, a barter system. The idea is to get artists and creative personalities to offer ideas for interactive activities with the festival attendees in return for free passes! So you give an idea or display your artistic talent based around their theme of Navigation. All you have to do is fill a form and if you’re lucky enough to be chosen, you get to display your awesome skills as well as check out the other installations there! The free pass includes festival tickets and a spot to pitch your own tent.
And the options are limitless. You can apply if you can think of any interactive experience, installation or even a performance that fits in with the theme and can be interpreted in any way you like. Talk about freedom of choice! So if you have what it takes, fill the form and get going as the deadline is on the 7th of October.
