London Is Going To Host An Awesome Vegan Beer Festival

And here is all you need to know about it.

Europe has adopted the vegan life with open arms and London is probably spearheading this movement with a kick ass vegan beer festival!

But wait, what’s vegan beer? So since beer is made from barley malt, water, hops and yeast and so is often suitable for vegan and vegetarians. However, some breweries such as British cask ale producers may use animal products in the filtering process, which is as non-vegan as it can get. Thus, we have vegan beer!

London Vegan Beer Festival is going to be held at Old Ship, one of London’s most well known pubs. The festival will feature dozens of vegan beers, stalls serving vegan food in a park adjacent to the pub and of course, a beautiful view of River Thames. More importantly, the festival will be an extensive affair with a number or beer vendors and some delicious food by Follow Your Heart, known for their vegan cheese and Mayo.

The festival takes place on July 16, 2016.
