The Holi weekend is finally here, and The Sherp has compiled a list of some local holi festivals you shouldn’t miss! 

 

1. HOLI RELOADED, MUMBAI

Providing fans the perfect escape from their everyday lives, Holi Reloaded unites people from all over India and connects them for one magical event. Holi Reloaded is India’s Premier Electronic Dance Music Holi Gathering and is back and ready to transform 2014 . With a stellar DJ line up designed to get you into the groove, Holi Reloaded is framing up to be nothing short of fantastic.

2. RANG FESTIVAL, DELHI

“Rang” is a unique music festival produced and executed by Eventwala. The festival has seen tremendous success since its inception in 2008. Today the name ‘Rang‘ has become synonymous with Holi festivities. The objective of “Rang” is to create “The Ultimate Electronic Music Experience” to celebrate the colorful festival of Holi!. A mirage of bursting colors, the best of International and Indian artists, a wide variety of cocktails and a fabulous spread of mouth watering Holi delights, come together to present “RANG 2014”.
To further enhance the experience, the festival offers extensive fun activities and attractions such as a rain dance, imaginative drinking games, mind blowing visuals and lots of color!

3. HOLI COW!, DELHI

Holi Cow! – the festival of colour, dance, music and merry making is back for its 7th edition. The world’s first multi genre, multi stage festival dedicated to Holi is in full swing to bring to Holi Cow! fans an experience like no other. The festival will be going back to its roots to bring about a sense of ‘Deja – Moo’ among old friends of Holi Cow! and show the first timers what the festival is really about. The 3 1/2 stages will feature the best of Folk, Indie and World music. The 1/2 stage will feature the talented artistes hailing from the Kathputli Colony in Delhi who will blow the audiences away with their skills.

No passes will be sold for the event, entry will be by invitation only. A small amount of donor passes will be available to help support a cause which the Holi Cow! family believes in strongly, funding scholarships for under privileged children in the field of performing arts.

4. HOLIGUNS FESTIVAL, DELHI

The craziest, longest and most colourful holi festival, Holi Guns, is back!  This Holi promises to be wild, wicked and wet! Whether its dancing in the rain or drowning your friends in colour, Holi Guns 2014 has everything you could ever ask for. With a large variety of food and IMFL options and extra special care taken to ensure complete safety, your decision on where to go this Holi was never easier.
