2021 has been a great year for many super-hit album releases from various artists. Many albums are yet to be released at the year-end including one from Lil Uzi Vert.
A video was posted on DJ Akademiks Instagram account where Uzi is asked by someone when his next project is going to be released, and the rapper gives a surprisingly candid answer to the question.
“Where the next project though?” was the question asked by the fan who’s not in the frame. Uzi responded very casually to the fan, revealing a possible schedule for when the album might drop.
“Probably like three weeks, before Halloween comes out,” said Uzi. Then, when the person asked what the project is called, Uzi answers, “It’s called the Pink Tape.”
This is not the first time Uzi spoke out about his new upcoming album. When he attended the 18th-anniversary celebration of JAY-Z’s 40/40 Club he spoke to the press about the album drop.
This is what he said- “Oh, The Pink Tape? Well, it’s going through the mixing process right now because the last time I dropped an album, it did really well. It was actually my highest-selling album but it was a little bit experimental on the mixing part, not the actual music, so this time, I went experimental with the music and traditional on the mixing.”
There is yet no confirmed released date of Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Pink Tape” so stay tuned for it.
