Jodhpur Riff 2013

India’s leading international folk music festival is back for a seventh edition!

The Jodhpur RIFF’s seventh edition will be held this year at the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur this October. The five-day festival showcases the essence of Rajasthani traditional and global roots music. A non-profit partnership project, the Jodhpur RIFF has been endorsed by UNESCO as a “Peoples’ Platform for Creativity and Sustainable Development.”

From collaborations between international and local artists and a series of spectacular devotional concerts to documentary screenings, the schedule offers a range of performances for you to choose from. The events will be based in and around the Mehrangarh Fort, which was voted ‘Asia’s Best Fortress’ by Time Magazine. The international patron of Jodhpur RIFF is none other than Mick Jagger – the leading vocalist and founder member of The Rolling Stones!

This year, the festival promises an authentic folk and traditional experience with artists like Hindal & Hasme Khan, Maangi Bai, Maya Kamaty, Manu Chao, classical maestros Imran & Dilshad Khan and many more!
