Back in 2013, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel trolled Coachella attendees by making up ridiculous band names and asking if they knew them. While Jimmy won in 2013, it seems Coachella ’16 was ready for it!

Festival goers at Coachella 2016 clearly knew their shit, with most figuring out that it was a prank being played on them. It was much worse 3 years ago, with people agreeing with the interviewer that they knew bands like Get The Fuck Out Of My Pool and Shorty Jizzle And The Plumber Cracks, bands that didn’t exist at all. The 2016 prank featured names like DJ Zika and The Vegan Alternatives, but they didn’t work at all!

Jimmy was pretty impressed himself. “I think this is progress, I think people are more honest now,” said Jimmy on his talk show after the pranks were played.

Here’s the original 2013 edition of the same prank that turned festival goers into internet jokes!
