The “Adult VR Fest 01” showcased the latest developments in VR pornography including a variety of ‘interesting’ looking VR sex accessories. However, the venue proved too small for the large number of people who turned up.
The event took place in the Akihabara region of Tokyo and was documented by Japanese blogger Eizo0000. From a translation of that blog, it is understood that only a few lucky punters managed to gain access before the police acted to disperse the enormous crowd of sweaty-palmed porn fans.
“There were so many that it was almost impossible to keep the situation under control,” the blogger reported. “While waiting for my friends, I couldn’t help but think that if they couldn’t control the mass of people, a riot or something similar could happen.”
