Points to note:
-If you have an Instrument that has a pickup in it, it’s advised to use the pickup if it’s good and delivers the natural sound of the instrument and doesn’t add distortion. You won’t have to worry about the noise and disturbances around you like fan noise, dogs barking, and whatnot, which a mic sure picks up!
2. USB Mic:
These are easy to use Microphones that you can plug in your laptop directly without any soundcard/Audio Interface. You can use this mic with Zoom. This comes a little cheap too, around 5k. I’ll always recommend having an Audio Interface but if you’re looking for something temporary and just want one good sounding Microphone, this will do the job!!

-How to setup the Audio Interface?
It’s pretty easy and you can follow this diagram to plug in your Mic, Instrument Cable, headphone to your Audio interface, and The Audio interface to the computer.
For Windows users, You might have to install drivers of your Audio Interface from their official website.
-How to set Gain in Audio Interface and test Volume in Zoom?
Once you’ve Installed Zoom, Log in to the Zoom Client.
Go to Settings (Click on the setting option on the right top corner)Click the Audio tab.
There you’ll see the option to test mic.
According to that, you can increase or decrease the gain on your Audio Interface using the gain knobs.
