Indie Music Festival To Offer Free Entry If You’ve Got A Tattoo

All you have to do is get the festival’s logo permanently inked on any part of your body. Advertising gone too far?

Attending a music festival is not always a cheap expense you can afford. We all know everyone tries their best to pull some strings, make temporary alliances with organizers, participate in contests – to hustle their way into a festival. Every festival has a unique way of shelling out their giveaways, and an Atlanta festival is aiming to create a ‘lasting impression’ with their latest giveaway technique.

SHAKY KNEES FEST For Life #SK4L So how do you show your undying devotion to Shaky Knees Music Festival? Shaky founder and curator, Tim Sweetwood put his heart on his sleeve sort of, when he got inked with the Shaky Knees Fest logo. Follow his lead and you’ll get FREE admission to the festival all weekend! PLEASE READ the complete rules below before you get the needles out. – Post a picture of your Shaky Knees tattoo with the hashtags #ShakyKneesFest and #SK4L -Tattoos must be done with PERMANENT INK and contain the Shaky Knees logo (like the photo) -The Shaky Knees logo must be at least 40mm in diameter (the size of a silver dollar) -To claim your ticket you must present your tattoo at the SHAKY KNEES Will Call/Box Office on PRE-Festival box office days, during regular business hours ONLY – Tuesday, May 5 – Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7th, 10am – 8pm each day! – All tattoos will be verified! Yes VERIFIED so don’t try that temp sh*t! – #Shaky Knees Festival, staff, entities and partners are not responsible for any harm, injury, ill effects or “morning after remorse” as a result of your decision to permanently brand yourself. The founder of the festival, Tim Sweetwood, put out a message on Facebook stating the rules and regulations for the same.

The festival has some really fine acts lined up this year including The Strokes, Tame Impala, Neutral Milk Hotel and many other fine independent acts.
