Last weekend, India’s newest and unique multi-dimensional festival opened its gates to a whopping 30,000 attendees, held at the Danchiri Camping Resort in Gurgaon. In what seemed like a brave first attempt at nailing the whole ‘family-experience-event’, audiences were privy to fantastic food, music, kids activities, cultural performances and a great atmosphere!
In terms of BandBaja Bass, the musical offshoot festival of the event – performances by Mojojojo and Midival Punditz got the crowd pretty revved up, Mame Khan was an absolute delight, while Lucky Ali brought back that 90’s Indi-Pop vibe. The gastronomical experience titled ‘Foodistaan’ set the standards by featuring over 30 varieties of culinary practices from nooks of corners of India and the world. Street food stalls were bustling with action, as people were anxious to try out the various indigenous rural street khana available. Sucheta Pal’s Zumba workout brought in a massive and energetic audience of families and kids.
