Coachella organizers just released a poster and teaser for the new Desert Trip festival featuring some of the most legendary rock acts.
While Coachella was taking place, rumours about a new Classic Rock festival at the same venue had started doing the rounds. After days of speculation and eager anticipation, Goldenvoice has finally announced the all new Desert Trip festival which promises to be the most epic Rock festival of all time. Featuring veterans like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who, the festival is scheduled to be held from October 7 to October 9 at the Empire Polo Club, Indio.
Though Coachella usually attracts millenials, Desert Trip is targeted towards the baby boomers. In a nostalgic concert, thousands are expected to flock to see, as Roger Daltrey of The Who put it, “the greatest remains of our era.”
