Goa Will Host A Spectacular Environmental Arts Festival This March

North Goa’s Vasundhara Festival will bring together music, film, theater, visual and healing arts in an attempt to create a community aimed at protecting and nurturing the city.

Now here’s a festival that one would not directly relate to Goa. Vasundhara is an environmental arts festival that has a program committed to share, learn, inform, enlighten, and empower audiences to take care of the riches of Mother Earth. It will fuse together various activities conducted by artists and forward thinkers from India and across the globe.

Italian maestro Gaudi will be performing at the festival

The four day festival will  be presenting renowned DJ’s (including Gaudi) and live acts, a showcase of inspiring films, dance, theatre and visual art, as well as workshops conducted by key experts in waste management, permaculture, organic gardens, natural building, eco tourism, renewable energy and sustainable fishing.

With the protection of Goa’s flora and fauna at the forefront of their aims, there’s also going to be plenty of on-ground activities. The festival will be held from March 5 – 8 and you can find out more about the festival HERE
