The second edition of The Cocktail Festival is taking place in Jounieh, Lebanon on the 17th – 20th of August this year and it’s going to be a rager!
The bartending event’s first edition in Brummana back in 2016 drew in more than 45,000 visitors so you could imagine the hype around its second round! The four day weekend will celebrate all the bartenders, bars and brands that are huge factors in the country’s trade with over 50 bars that will come together and attract an estimated 10,000 participants a day! It will give people the opportunity to also discover new concoctions and give a platform to all the bartenders to share their expertise.
The event will be organized by the Beirut Cocktail Factory & CPR Group in order to improve the Lebanese nightlife and hospitality and nothing brings people together like some down time with a couple of drinks in hand. Jounieh has gained quite the reputation as a capital for tourists and nightlife with a number of pubs, clubs and restaurants, sealing it’s hosting capacity.
Selim Hakimeh, Co-founder of Beirut Cocktail Factory and Bassam Karam, Managing Director of CPR Group, gave a joint statement mentioning, “For four consecutive weekend nights, visitors of The Cocktail Festival will experience the best cocktails made by their favorite bartenders, in an atmosphere of continuous entertainment by their favorite DJs and bands and with the participation of all top spirits & alcohol brands in the industry.”
