Ellie Goulding, The Lumineers, Alt-J And More To Perform At Positivus Festival!

The festival with a dreamy destination, line-up and richness of genres!

The Baltic’s biggest popular music and art festival, Positivus announced the first acts for the 2017 edition. Pixies, Ellie Goulding and Alt-J are among them. The festival will be taking place in the coastal town of Salacgriva for their 11th time. Mark the dates from July 14th to July 16th.

Combining a variety of genres, including indie, pop, folk, electronic and more styles in between, the first acts to be announced include Maximo Park, The Lumineers, The Pixies, Ellie Goulding, Alt-J, Rae Sremmurd, Kamasi Washington, L.A. Salami, José González, Mew, Austra, JP Cooper, Cigarettes After Sex, DaGamba, Dzelzs Vilks, Pienvedēja Piedzīvojumi, Ray Blk, Eska, Nothing but Thieves, Julia Jacklin, Margaret Glaspy and Bandmaster.

The festival’s main stage, Lattelecom will be hosting living legends Pixies on Friday July 14th joining Maximo Park. British singer of “Love Me Like You Do”, Ellie Goulding will wrap up the musical programme on Saturday, July 15th, and the festival will end with folk rock from The Lumineers and indie rockers Alt-J on Sunday, July 16th.

Friday’s Nordea stage will feature JP Cooper, who is currently selling out shows like wildfire and whose recent track was on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. Canadian electronic project Austra will conclude Saturday’s line-up, with Danish alternative rockers Mew wrapping up on Sunday.
