The seasoned Indian musician is taking his live band to one of the world’s largest music festivals.
Following in the footsteps of Pearl, Filter Coffee, Shaair and Func and a number of Indian artists who will be performing at international festivals this year, live experimental electronica producer Donn Bhat and his live music outfit – Passenger Revelator are the next names to have earned the opportunity to make the country proud. The gig will be a special collaborative performance with sarangi player Suhail, Yusuf Khan and drummer Ashwin Andrew of the erstwhile Orange Street fame.
Having racked up a loyal fan base owing to their unique fusion of electronica, rock, psychedelic and drum and bass, the band will be performing on day 3 of the Somerset festival. Glastonbury festival, with an explosive lineup and an amazing location, is easily one of UK’s most anticipated festivals. And with Kanye West as the headliner, reasons to not attend this fest are pretty much non-existent.
