DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Poll Is Out!

No surprises in guessing who took the No. 1 spot.

Music’s most awaited ranking was announced at the opening party in this year’s AMF Festival, the largest festival of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Martin Garrix took the throne, becoming the youngest DJ to hit the No. 1 spot. The 20-year-old dethroned Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and accepted the award from his mentor Tiesto, who himself took the 5th spot on the rankings.

On receiving the award, Martin Garrix said, “It feels unreal to have won. I 100% did not expect it at all. I’ve had an amazing year, with awesome shows and amazing fans — I’m so thankful for their support. I didn’t even do a campaign, and it just shows how dope the fan-base is.”

The Indian contingent made us proud with DJ Chetas shooting up to the 33rd spot after coming up 26 spots.

Lost Stories cemented their place in the EDM world with their first time entry at No. 52. They were one of the 13 new entrants in the list. Quite an achievement we must say.

In another special mention for the country, it has been released that votes coming in from India were the second highest, after USA. For the first time, the votes in the Top 100 DJs poll exceeded one million.
