The Dalai Lama Will Be Attending Glastonbury, 2015

Here’s some pretty ‘enlightening’ news

As confirmed on his website, His Holiness, The Dalai Lama will be attending the UK’s holy grail of festivals – Glastonbury, 2015. According to a statement on his website, the head Monk of Tibet will be practically ‘headlining’ the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm on June 28th, where he will deliver a speech based on the “message of compassion and mutual understanding”.

We bet this comes as great news to most Glastonbury loyals, who can vouch for the festival’s importance in the UK festival scene. Mainly because the Dalai Lama (the spiritual leader of the the world’s most revered religions) is a man known for his talks on secularism and positivity. The kind of preaching anybody would love to witness.

Apart from him, the only other confirmed act for the festival is Lionel Richie. We can’t wait to see what other announcements Glastonbury has in store for us.
