Daft Punk To Perform At This Year’s Grammys After Last Performing There In 2014

It’s confirmed and we’re loving it.

French electronic music duo, Daft Punk, will perform at the 59th Grammy Awards, scheduled to be held on 12th February. They will be playing alongside The Weeknd, with whom they have collaborated on ‘Starboy’ and ‘I Feel It Coming’.

The last time Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Cristo performed at the Grammy Awards was back in 2014 when they performed ‘Get Lucky’, their 2013 hit track, with Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder and Nile Rodgers. Don’t remember it? Here’s what it went like:

But, this isn’t the only good news in store for Daft Punk fans. The rumours that Daft Punk might tour 2017 are getting stronger with this Grammy performance announcement. This year also marks the 10th year anniversary of their iconic Alive 2007 tour! Also, one can note that Daft Punk haven’t been nominated in any category at the Grammys this year, though The Weeknd has secured a nomination with Beyonce for Lemonade.

So, keeping fingers crossed, like we always do.
