Cops Shut Diplo’s Super Bowl Bash At Houston Museum!

Party’s over, even if you are Diplo!

Police shut down Diplo’s Super Bowl Bash party in Houston, Texas, on Saturday night after it exceeded the time-limit. Thomas Wesley Pentz, better known as Diplo, apparently showed up at 1 a.m and then continued to play long past the wrap-up time. So, police took the matters into their hands and shut the party down in the early hours of Sunday.

According to Dailymail UK, when Diplo said goodbye to fans, one asked, “How does it feel, you just shut down the Super Bowl party?” To this, Diplo replied, “I hope I just warmed up for the Falcons tomorrow,” referring to the Atlanta Falcons who were playing with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI at the NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday.

Although the cops had to halt the show, it went pretty cool before and after, both ways. One of the cops even said that he loves Diplo’s music and it’s just a part of their job to stop the party.

Well, there’s more coming for the next Sunday, when the double Grammy winner is up for two more possible wins. He’s been nominated as a producer on Justin Bieber’s Purpose and Beyonce’s Lemonade, both in the Album Of The Year category.
