Chance The Rapper Wants A Grammy And He Wants It Bad

The rapper has gone all out to get his stream-only album nominated.

Chance The Rapper has had an incredible amount of success in the past few years and is one of the few artists who is all about not putting a price tag on his music. But if that is the case, such projects are not considered for awards, specially the Grammy Awards.

But the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences would be making official changes to the stream-available album rule for consideration into the awards. In that case, the albums should be released between the 1st of October 2015 and 30 September 2016. This means that Chance’s “Coloring Book” has a really strong chance of being considered this year.

So in order to get the attention of the selection panel of the nominees, the rapper has created ads for his Grammy nomination. No kidding! Billboard magazine is carrying a full page ad in their latest issue to sway the panel in his direction. Billboard’s senior editor Frank DiGiacomo also confirmed it via twitter.

And it seems that more ads are headed our way from the mouth, or rather fingers, of the man himself.

And why not? If Trump can hold a consideration campaign to be elected President, Chance should win all the categories of the awards available. He has been very vocal about winning a Grammy even in the chorus he rapped for Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam” and it looks like it’s paying off.

Fingers crossed all his hard work pays off.
