This Is How The Rich And Famous Kick It At Glastonbury

While most attendees are trudging in the mud at Glastonbury, there are a select elite few who are living it up, come rain or shine.

Ever wonder how all the celebs attending festivals manage to look so perfect all the time? Money, that’s how (No surprise there.) With a 5 night stay at Glastonbury costing about £10,000, you need to be seriously loaded. These lucky people get a premium ‘glamping’ experience, with warm tents, luxurious beds, Gwyneth Paltrow-approved, vitamin-infused toilet paper (£100 a roll), a fully stocked bar with Aperol and Grey Goose along with personal butlers.

While some get multiple suitcases, filled with dozens of chic outfits and jewellery, in their helicopters, others just walk in and buy everything on site. According to Lyst, a fashion ecommerce platform, the average UK Glastonbury shopper spends £165 on festival items which is almost as much as the festival ticket itself, but those with VIP wristbands wear outfits worth a thousand times that.

The emphasis on fashion might not be as much as Coachella but it sure is close. The VIPs also have access to several exclusive big label brand pop up stores and spa treatments, complete with facials, that others can only dream about affording. All this time we were thinking that people go to a music festival for the music (guess not), but then again it is their money so why not?
