The co-founder of one of the world’s largest summer music festivals, Ashley Capps, will bring a brand new festival to Canada this summer
The people of Canada may no longer need to make the long journey down south to attend their favorite summer music festival – Bonnaroo. The festival’s co founder has devised plans to bring a similar festival to Canada’s doorstep, sometime this summer. Titled ‘HomeAway’, the festival has apparently been planned for quite some time now, as Capps has been involved in ongoing talks with Toronto based company, Republic Live to make this happen.

Although the confirmation hasn’t yet been penned down, the line-up, venue and other details are scheduled to come out sometime this month. Good news for the Canadian faithful. Stay tuned to the Sherp for more.
