A year has passed since Budweiser Experiences brought us the global phenomenon that was Boiler Room- now, they are back with an all-new mega event: BUDx – The Electronic Music Lab!
The new concept will launch in Delhi on December 6-8, with 3 days filled with workshops, talks, masterclasses and live shows. A true match made in electronic music heaven, Budweiser Experiences is collaborating with Boiler Room to aim the spotlight at local talent and the Indian electronic music scene. The Lab will feature acts by artists the likes of TEEBS, Throwing Shade, and Kindness, alongside the most promising Indian talent!
The focus of BUDx is to unite both fans and artists in a collaborative, creative experience that celebrates the emerging electronic music culture. BUDx puts the spotlight on the development of electronic music in India as a tool of social cohesion and empowerment through its structure and content. It is an extension of the collaboration that saw Boiler Room come to India at the end of 2016, and continues to herald the local scene and electronic music communities of the nation.

Speaking about launching BUDx in India, Kartikeya Sharma, Marketing Director, AB InBev India said, “We are very proud that India is debuting the launch of this flagship global property. BUDx will curate the most exciting trends and themes in the current scene, and will include panel discussions, showcases, masterclasses, real-time collaborations between artists and amazing Boiler Room sets streamed live across the globe.
Speaking with Dean Bryce, Head of Music at Boiler Room about BUDx, he quotes: “At Boiler Room, we always want to delve deeper into the how, what, why of the scenes that we love. BUDx presents a great, new opportunity for us to get more involved on the ground to discuss and deliberate on music culture across the world, starting with New Delhi in December 2017. From panel discussions to masterclasses, one-off collaborations and of course, great music, we envision BUDx to grow into an online archive that will be a resource for fans as well as for the scenes that we champion.”

The highlights of the day will include a masterclass by TEEBS, a producer, a visual artist, and a key member of Brainfeeder clan, who has made his way to the very top of the scene with his unique brand of beautifully off-kilter, hip-hop-colored beat construction. There will also be a panel discussion with Sandunes and _RHL as well as a real-time collaboration between multi-instrumentalist, producer and film director Ash Koosha and composer, percussionist and producer Sarathy Korwar, among a plethora of other day-time offerings and activities.
The main conference will be closed by a Boiler-Room-style party. The lineup will be announced soon.
