The album, composed of 18 tracks personally chosen by The Boss himself, is a companion piece to his upcoming autobiography, “Born to Run”, four days prior to its release. “Writing about yourself is a funny business. But in a project like this, the writer has made one promise, to show the reader his mind. In these pages, I’ve tried to do this,” Springsteen said.

“Chapter and Verse” summarises the decades-long career of the Grammy Award-winning singer. The album covers his 60s and early 70s recordings with The Castiles, Steel Mill and The Bruce Springsteen Band and includes cuts from his studio albums until 2012.

Apart from the 20 Grammy Awards to his name, he has also earned two Golden Globes and an Academy Award.

Springsteen’s latest also includes five songs that have never been unveiled.
