After his massive success at Moonrise Festival 2015 on Saturday, Bassnectar took to Facebook and Instagram the next day to make an announcement and thank his fans.
Following his set at the Lunar Stage at the Moonrise Festival, Bassnectar was asked to curate his own stage at Moonrise Festival 2016. This follows a fan petition that asked him to create and curate his own music festival. While he may not be there yet, this is definitely a start!
On an Instagram post, Bassnectar said, “@MoonriseFest!!! You doubled in size this year, landing smack dab on 8/08 with perfect weather to deliver a perfect slam dunk! THANK YOU ALL! They asked me to curate a stage next year so we’ll see whats up in 2016 ???? Enjoy your summer, people of earth!!!!”
Bassnectar is an American DJ and record producer. He gained momentum and success at Burning Man Festival, often playing upto 7 sets a night. With influences from rock and heavy metal bands, his music developed a heavy electronic style.
