The biggest techno festival in the world will celebrate two decades of its existence this April. Are you ready to take a techno trip for the ages?
Coming this April, experience four days of over 200 organised parties, representing over 200 hours of partying amongst over 1.5 million visitors; as the largest and most well-known techno festival in the world will be celebrating 20 amazing years. To commemorate the magnitude of this event, not only will there be a massive four-day party with some of the hottest DJs in the techno world, but a special book titled, ‘AWAKENINGS: 20 Years of Techno’ will also be published by Monumental Productions together with publisher Mary Go Wild. This special edition book will explore the journey of The Awakening Festival from its inception 20 years ago to its evolution into today’s world. As an added feature, the book will also feature illustrations by around 50 of the best DJs in the world!
This year, there will be a day programme for the first-time ever on the Saturday 15th of April, 2017 at the Gashouder on the Westergasfabriek terrain in Amsterdam as part of the four-day Awakenings Fest from April 13th to April 16th, 2017. It is also the first time that the festival will be held indoors.
And, to add to the excitement the events, the organisers have announced the line-up for all four days!
