Art Outside Is One Of The Prettiest Festivals On The Circuit. Here’s What To Expect This Year

The niche arts festival will be held from October 24-27 in Texas, USA; expect innovative workshops, an eclectic line-up, fun camping and an idyllic overall experience

You don’t need to be an art buff to head to this festival; the event offers so much that it will ensure you become one eventually if you come over. Art Outside is the kind of festival you wouldn’t mind getting lost in. With a focus on learning and community building, it eschews indulging in unnecessary pomp and show. Feels like home?

Art Outside takes pride in its plural and inclusive nature, and is a perfect festival to take your family to, especially if you have toddlers or young kids.

THINGS TO EXPECT THIS YEAR
1. Amazing Art Installations And Workshops

Besides admiring the fantastic artworks that the festival showcases, attendees can also participate in interesting and wide-ranging workshops. This year, one can learn to hoop dance, play a didgeridoo, wire wrap jewelry and yoga, among other things. Below are some of the displays planned for the upcoming event.

2. The Music Line-Up

This year will feature a motley group of artistes such as The Motet, Conspirator, Emancipatior, The Polish Ambassador, Nahko & Medicine for the People, Papadosio.

3. The Location

Art Outside is held in Apache Pass, the beautiful green patch in downtown Texas. The scenic locales are definitely one of the biggest selling points of the festival.

4. The People

At Art Outside, you are bound to meet some of the most passionate art and music lovers. Because of the festival’s deliberate no-frill, pure-arts policy, only the more serious and dedicated visitors throng to the event. Which also means that the festival doesn’t attract those who just want to be ‘seen’ there, in turn, helping maintain a close-knit community. The fact that it is an affordable festival only adds to its charm.
