Announced at the recent Pretty Lights gig in Mumbai, the band will be in Delhi and Mumbai this May for the Emerge Festival.
As revealed by the Sherp earlier this month, Alt-J were rumored to be in India sometime soon to make up for their Delhi disappointment. The capital city and Mumbai officially have something to rejoice about, as the dates for their return were announced at the recent MTV Spiro gig featuring Pretty Lights.
A band that has categorically denied labelling itself, Alt–J have already shown India what they’re all about in Bangalore recently, and Delhi folk were awfully unlucky to miss out on the band after their show with fellow UK stars Rudimental was cancelled due to bad weather.
