The EDC New York lineup has finally been announced featuring some festival favourites and several newcomers.
The Electric Daisy Carnival is one of the most awaited electronic music festivals and this year promises to be even bigger. The festival features genres like EDM, house, dance, electro house, drum and bass, techno, dance-punk, hardstyle, dubstep, trance and more. Music will be provided by artists like Afrojack, David Guetta, Zedd, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, Seven Lions and Yellow Claw. With such a powerhouse lineup, electronic music lovers will be rushing to get their hands on tickets. The festival will occur over 2 days on May 14-15 and spread across a total of four stages.
EDC, hosted by the company Insomniac Events, was first held in 1997 in Los Angeles. It has since spread to various venues across the United States (California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico) as well as abroad, including Mexico, the UK, Brazil & Japan. The largest electronic music festival outside of Europe, EDC was dubbed the “American Ibiza” in 2010 drawing more than 400,000 people over 3-days in 2015.
