New Zealand – one of the most ethereal tourist spots in the world – will be home to a brand new music festival come January. The Mclaren Falls Music & Arts Festival will take place from 10-12 January 2016 at Tauranga, one of the country’s most populated cities. In the words of festival director Paxton Talbot, the gathering “will bring a taste of Glastonbury and Coachella to the Pacific in both the style of the lineup and the approach to the festival site

The festival will feature a three day line-up of some of the finest artists, curated from the reaches of pop, rock, folk, electronica, psychedelia, blues, soul, hip-hop, R&B, world, alternative and beyond. With open air stages of musical splendour; an array of visual and performing arts; markets, cafes and stalls of organic and sumptuous delights; workshops and wellness; lakeside camping, waterfalls, rolling hills and a glow-worm forest.
