2018 Dates For 23rd Edition Of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Announced. Know More.

The world’s largest club-based festival and conference for electronic music will lay special emphasis on the South Korean electronic music scene during its 23rd edition.

Widely regarded as the mecca of all things electronic music, Amsterdam Dance Event has since its inception in 1996 grown rapidly to become the leading business conference and festival of the global electronic music scene. Started as an initiative by Buma, ADE is geared up to welcome another glorious edition in 2018, which also marks their 23rd edition. Set to take place from 17-21 October, 2018, ADE expects to garner around 400,000 visitors over the five-day period.

Last year, the event featured 2,500 artists and 550 speakers in a record breaking 160 venues, and attracted festival attendees from as many as 90 countries. If it is anything related to electronic music, Amsterdam Dance Event is the place to be. This year’s edition will focus on the electronic music scene in South Korea, which is recognized as one of the fastest growing and flourishing electronic music cultures in the world at the moment.

Director, Richard Zijlma states: “The South Korean electronic music scene is growing rapidly, thanks to technological innovation and smart crossovers. During ADE we will focus on the very best the country has to offer across a wide range of festival and conference events.”

Make sure you book your tickets for ADE here, or else you will miss out on something that looks like this! :

ADE will continue to step up and address issues and avenues towards the growth of electronic music, club culture and festival culture around the globe, as always this year. Additionally, ADE has established partnerships with cultural institutions to represent each country individually on new and separate pavilions.

The addition of pavilions creates extra possibilities to meet and network for music industry professionals but also provides a means to show the innovative power of individual territories in front of an international audience,” states Zijlma.
