Asia’s largest boat festival is coming this November!

The guys behind Future Music Festival bring us another massive gathering on a cruise.

Festivals at sea are becoming a rapidly rising trend. Partying on land has become a very mainstream practice, and with the success that went down at Destructo’s HOLY SHIP!!!, this is just the beginning. Asia’s largest festival at sea has just been announced by the folks behind Future Music Festival Asia.

It’s The Ship will take place on a state of the art Royal Caribbean cruise ship, and is expected to attract around 3,800 passengers to the five day event. The ship embarks from Singapore, before passing through the straits of Malacca on the way to Langkawi where a huge beach party is set to take place.

Muhammad Iqbal, Group Chief Executive Officer of The Livescape Group says:

“It truly is exciting times ahead for all of us at Livescape and we hope music fans in Singapore and across Asia will share this sentiment as well upon hearing of this announcement. IT’S THE SHIP was born out of an idea of wanting to provide music fans in the region with a unique, one-of-a-kind festival experience never before seen on this part of the world, by merging both the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation and the fun experience of a world-class music festival into one.”

The line-up will be announced on August 15, but expect an arrangement of both international and regional acts across multiple stages. Cabin registration is open now and if you register before August 15, you’ll get a 20% discount when purchasing your cabin during the on sale period.
