A Day of sLick! is back for another crackling edition. Here’s why you need to be a part of it. 

After its phenomenal edition earlier this year, A Day of sLick! is making a grand comeback at Kitty Su, Mumbai, on December 5. An exclusive day-long techno and deephouse event with a wide range of other immersive activities to its credit, the second edition of this party seems immensely exciting. 1. Nora En Pure

After her uber-successful set earlier this year, Nora En Pure is back for her increasing fanbase in India. Daniela Niederer, pseudonym Nora En Pure, brings forth an uplifting aspect of house music with her diverse sound. Prepare for  intense deep house vibes with tropical undertones during her set this month. Listen to some of her muisc here!

 

2. Croatia Squad

Croatia Squad is an act The Sherp is quite excited about, who happens to be a respected deep and tech house producer hailing from Switzerland. His high quality, dance-floor hits have acquired releases on some of the biggest and most respected labels in Electronic Music such as, Toolroom Records, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Sirup Music, and Milk & Sugar. Remixes like the Calippo remix, “Looking for A Meaning”, made it to Beatport’s top 100. 3. Guy J

Guy J is a phenomenal underground Israeli producer/DJ and a skillfully versatile artist. The young and much-in-demand producer is part of a trend towards house music’s emotionally charged roots. His hits include ‘Lamur’, ‘Pleasurety EP’, ‘Lost & Found’ and ‘Shaman’ amongst others. If underground is your thing or not, Guy J’s tantalizing sets will keep you hanging on until the wee hours of the night. 4. H.O.S.H.

H.O.S.H. is one of the pioneers in the genre of dynamic house, and he’s bringing all his spectacular vibes to Mumbai. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, Holger Behn (aka H.O.S.H.) is one of the most idiosyncratic musicians today. In India, where the influx of dynamic house music is increasingly rapidly, Behn’s set by the pool this month is bound to be legendary. Don’t miss it!. Listen to some of his music here.

 

5. The pool

Beat the abominable Mumbai heat with an entire day beside the pool. There will be several refreshments, stalls, drinks and of course, the pool itself. It’s an opportunity to leave all your worries behind for one day and let loose. A Day of sLick! promises a full-fledged pool party experience that you’re not likely to forget anytime soon.

 

6. The longest party in town

Spoiling you for all future live electronic events, A Day of sLick! is bringing you the longest deep house extravaganza of the year. With 16 hours of non-stop partying and incredible music, there’s very little to almost no room for complaints. From Saturday afternoon (12PM) to the wee hours of Sunday morning (4AM), Kitty Su will play host to hundreds of fans. We can only hope you’re as stoked as we are.

 

7. Kitty Su Mumbai

The previous sLick! edition was the inaugural event at Mumbai’s Kitty Su. It’s one of the leading live event venues that has held some incredible underground electronic acts this past year. Chic and perfect for the urban lifestyle of Mumbai, Kitty Su is the ideal venue for the upcoming sLick! edition. The early bird passes for the event sold out in  70 minutes flat, so the organizers are expecting a full house of tech-house music enthusiasts.

 

8. An au natural afternoon

The event can essentially be segregated into two parts – the afternoon chill beside the pool, and the musical journey inside the club. While attendees are relaxing by the pool, the environment will be created to suit an “au naturale” vibe with no blinding LEDs or neon flamboyance. You can lay next to the pool for hours soaking up the sun and trying out the various food stalls.

 

9. The “Pampering Stall”

The Pampering Stall is a unique feature the organizers of sLick!  have added to the event this year. For a truly immersive luxury experience, you can visit this stall to recieve exclusive massages and other organic and relaxing services. Pamper yourself.

 

10. No dress code

For this day exclusively, Kitty Su will set aside their dress code. Attendees can wear whatever they like. Quite thoughtfully, the organizers have made sure it’s not too tedious for a party goer to deal with the hassle of changing clothes before and after entering the pool. So simply carry your swimsuit and a towel, because you don’t have to worry about dressing to impress at sLick!, it’s all about the music.
