Having debuted in 2005, Tomorrowland has out grown many electronic festivals to become the worldβs most attended electronic music gathering. Having already expanded into USA & Brazil, the festival has set itβs gaze on an Indian edition.
The Deccan Chronicle quoted some ongoing chatter on the EDM circuit,
βThe live performances wing of Universal Music India will be bringing the feted Tomorrowland experience to India. India has emerged as a major EDM destination after Sunburn and itβs no surprise that there is international attention on the scene here. Universal is looking to expand its live music space in India and there can be nothing bigger than Tomorrowland to do it for them. Itβll be the biggest event in the countryβs growing music calendar.βΒ

Itβs incredible how quickly the electronic music culture has latched on to India since itβs introduction, further exemplifying Tomorrowland’s decision to view India as a fit destination to host a festival of itβs scale.
