The Movement Electronic Music Festival, DetroitΒ is an annual electronic dance music event held in Detroit each Memorial Day weekend since 2000. It has built quite a reputation for itself over the yearsΒ featuring performances by musicians and DJs and emphasizing the progressive qualities of the culture surrounding electronic music. This year the festival is scheduled to take place on May 28-30. The Phase 1 line up has been announced featuring some great artists like Adam Beyer, Boys Noize, Caribou, Dubfire, Juan Atkins, Maceo Plex, Stacey Pullen and many more.
The Movement festival is truly the complete underground party experience, attracting visitors from all over the world to celebrate Techno music in the city of its birth. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the largest electronic music festivals in the world.
